Fees, Charges and Accommodation Bonds
There is a Resident Agreement (contract) which needs to be signed at the time of entry into Storm
Village. This agreement states the fees and charges to be paid. The Agreement may be signed by
the resident or by a Power of Attorney.
Low care residents are required to pay a Refundable Accommodation Bond, unless they qualify as a "concessional" or "assisted" resident. These classifications are available for financially disadvantaged people. The Refundable Bond is repayable within 7 days of departure minus a small retention fee which is set by the Commonwealth. It is possible to pay an Accommodation Bond greater than required to maximise a pension entitlement or to reduce tax payable. It may be possible to have daily fees and charges deducted from extra Bonds money paid. Our friendly administration staff are fully trained to advise on the financial aspects of admission to our Village.
